About The Composer’s Workshop

The Composer’s Workshop was founded to offer tailor-made lessons that bridge music theory and practice.

I’m Juan Pablo, an Argentinian composer, pianist, and producer based in Berlin. I’ve taught music and piano for over 20 years — from children and hobbyists to university-level and professional musicians.

Having led school classes, online seminars, and private lessons, I am always adapting my teaching style to each unique learning environment. I also collaborate with educational and publishing companies, creating piano arrangements and designing tutorials and courses for online music education platforms.

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Composition from the Universidad Católica Argentina and an M.A. from the Universität der Künste Berlin.

Alongside my educational work, I’ve built an active artistic career as a performer and composer. I’ve played, recorded, and toured across Europe and South America — from concert halls like the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam and Haus der Musik in Innsbruck to festivals such as the Oslo Chamber Music Festival. As a founding member of El Muro Tango, I arranged and recorded the ensemble’s albums Nostálgico (Galileo Music) and Manifiesto (Sony Music Argentina). My work also includes collaborations with dance companies and choreographers, as well as performances in the field of electronic music.

In recent years, I’ve expanded my practice toward interdisciplinary projects involving audio installations and experimental and documentary filmmaking.

My goal is to provide lessons that are both structured and enjoyable, helping each student grow musically while exploring their own creativity.
